Carpigiani Backs the Italian Culinary Championships at Rimini

Carpigiani was event partner for the 7th Italian Culinary Championships at Beer&Food Attraction in Rimini, 19 to 22 February 2023, supplying gelato technology to competing chefs.

From 19 to 22 February 2023, Carpigiani was an event partner of the Federazione Italiana Cuochi (Italian Federation of Chefs) at Beer&Food Attraction at the Rimini Expo Centre.

The competition

The occasion was the 7th edition of the Italian Culinary Championships, the country’s largest and most comprehensive national cooking competition, recognised by the Worldchefs network. It also hosted the European selections for the Global Chefs Challenge, which leads to a world final in Singapore in 2024.

Carpigiani supplied foodservice technology so competing chefs could bring traditional Italian gelato into their dishes, adding another chapter to Made in Italy culinary craft.

What this means for kitchens in Australia

Gelato on a restaurant plate is no longer just for dessert menus. Chefs use it as a component in savoury and sweet dishes alike. If you run a kitchen and want to make your own, see our foodservice solutions and our Carpigiani gelato machines.
