Are these machines available from anyone else?
No. These tub sealing machines are supplied only by Majors Group in Australia.
Which tub sizes do they seal?
The RSM2-SA seals 125 ml and 500 ml tubs. The RSM416 seals 500 ml tubs. The MGPK-SM6/9 has a changeable mould for 125 ml and 500 ml tubs.
What film do they use?
PLA seal film on a roll, heat-sealed across the top of each tub. Custom printing is available.
Are they for wholesale or retail tubs?
Both. Wholesale tub makers use them to supply other businesses, and retail packers use them for take-home tubs.
Which machine do I need?
It depends on tubs in your busiest hour. The RSM2-SA seals up to 600 an hour, the RSM416 up to 1,300 and the MGPK-SM6/9 up to 2,160. Tell us your volume and we confirm the match.
What power and air do they need?
The rotary machines run on 240 V single phase with a 90 litre air compressor. The MGPK-SM6/9 uses 240 V on a 10 amp plug with a 10 bar air supply. The specifications are in the comparison above.
