BRX is best known for glycol well gelato counters and pozzetti cabinets. A glycol cooling circuit surrounds every well, so each flavour sits at a stable temperature, preserved and out of the sun.

Up to 100% of mains water saved
Salvalacqua is BRX Italia’s closed-circuit water economiser for water-cooled gelato machines, display cabinets and refrigeration. The same water is cooled by a chiller to 12–17 °C and recirculated, so there is no continuous drinking-water consumption, no limescale and no water softener. It won the MIG Green Award for the most sustainable innovation in the ice cream industry in 2023.
SLQ
Indoor economiser unit with an outdoor chiller, so heat is discharged outside the building.

What pan sizes are available in the BRX Vista range?
BRX Vista is available with 25x25cm square tubs, Ø26cm round carapina pans, and Ø20cm round carapina pans.
How many flavours can BRX Vista display?

What is Salvalacqua?
Salvalacqua is a BRX Italia water economizer system designed for gelato shops, ice cream production rooms, display cabinets, refrigerators, and other water-cooled refrigeration equipment. It helps businesses save water by using a closed-circuit, closed-vessel cooling system.
How does Salvalacqua save water?
Salvalacqua recycles the same water inside a closed circuit instead of continuously using drinking water from the mains. Because the same water is reused, the system can save up to 100% of drinking water normally consumed by water-cooled refrigeration systems.
What equipment can Salvalacqua connect to?
