ECOGEL is the result of our constant attention to the needs of the market and the research of new materials in line with the increasingly strong preference towards performance products made from natural materials.

ECOGEL is a new, revolutionary type of insulated ice cream packaging. Recycled cellulose pulp, a plant ber, provides superior insulation, while naturally advanced Ingeo™ bioplastic, made from plant starch, creates a moisture barrier between the ice cream and the pulp. Compared to petroleum-based insulated ice cream packaging, ECOGEL delivers a lower carbon footprint by emitting less greenhouse gas and requiring less energy to manufacture. It is also simply incredible in terms of keeping ice cream cold.

ECOGEL is certified compostable to the EN 13432 European standard. In areas with commercial composters available to pick up organic household waste, the ECOGEL container goes back to nature as soil enrichment for landscaping and gardens.
