Stop sending drinking water down the drain
Water-cooled gelato machines, pasteurisers and cabinets use water to carry heat away. Without an economiser that is drinking water: used once, then drained.
The Salvalacqua water economiser replaces it with a sealed loop. A chiller cools the water, a pump sends it to your machines and the same water returns to be cooled again.

Green solutions: frequently asked questions
How much water does a water economiser save?
Salvalacqua saves 100% of the drinking water used for cooling, because the same water is cooled and used again in a closed circuit. The circuit does not need topping up and does not need a permanent connection to the water main.
Will a battery system lower my power bill?
It lets you buy power when it is cheapest. You charge overnight at off-peak rates and run on stored power while you trade, and you can add solar. For vans and carts it also removes generator fuel. What you save depends on your tariff and how much you run, so we size the system to your equipment first.
Is your packaging really compostable?
Our paper spoons are compostable and 100% plastic-free, and our eco and white cups are compostable PLA or PLA-lined paper. Custom printing is free from five cartons, so branded packaging costs no more.
Can you do this for one cart and for a national chain?
Yes. The same parts scale: a cart or small store starts with compostable packaging and the right machine, a production site adds a water economiser, and a multi-site group gets one specification replicated at every site with national service.
Is finance available on green upgrades?
Yes. Equipment can be purchased, rented or leased, so the saving starts before the asset is paid off.
