First Carpigiani Gelato Cup Held at Jiangnan University in Wuxi
Carpigiani China held the first Carpigiani Gelato Cup across October and November, bringing together about 25 students from Jiangnan University in Wuxi.
Prizes and seminar
The winner of the final earned a free place on a Carpigiani Gelato University course at the Bologna headquarters. The runner-up received the basic course at the Shanghai campus.
On the day of the final the university also hosted a seminar covering the history of gelato, the global market for artisan gelato and where it is heading. About 250 students attended.
