Carpigiani at FHA HoReCa 2024 in Singapore

Carpigiani was among the key players at FHA HoReCa 2024, one of Asia’s most important trade shows, held in Singapore from 22 to 25 October. It doubled its presence this year with two stands: one for quick service restaurants and chains (Hall 5, Booth 5F3-04) and one for gelato, pastry and foodservice professionals (Hall 3, Booth 3K3-08).

Competitions Carpigiani sponsored

  • The Asian Gelato Cup, a gelato team competition that determines the teams heading to the Gelato World Cup in Italy in 2026.
  • The Asian Pastry Cup, a pastry team competition whose winners go on to the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie in Lyon in 2025.
  • The Global Chefs Challenge, the Worldchefs global final in which the world’s best chefs compete across four categories.

The QSR stand

Visitors could try Synthesis 2, the modular system that produces, stores and serves gelato in a single unit in front of the customer, without breaking the cold chain. For soft serve, the stand showed the 161 T G SP, the most compact single-serve gravity machine, and the 191, a fast countertop soft serve machine that can produce more than 250 portions of 75 g in an hour.

The gelato, pastry and foodservice stand

  • Pastochef 18 RTL-I makes up to 17 kg per cycle of Bavarian cream, custard, fruit jam, tempered chocolate, ganache and puff pastry. Its inverter gives nine stirring speeds, four of them intermittent, for flexible recipe management.
  • Lab-O-Chef 5 is a multifunction countertop machine for chocolate, gastronomy and gelato. It reaches 105°C and offers more than 60 programs.
  • Ready 8/12 is a compact countertop machine that processes hot and cold mixes and produces up to 12 kg of gelato an hour. It has 8 automatic programs and Hard-O-Tronic® technology.
  • ReadyChef is a small countertop machine with 34 programs, covering cream, chocolate, gelato, sorbets and fruit cremolatas. Six of the cycles are for sauces and toppings.
  • Pastomaster 60 XPL P is a pasteuriser with an exchanger pump that finely micronises fat globules for creamy, stable gelato. Its dry bain-marie system makes minimum charge levels easier to manage without scorching the mix.
  • Freeze&Go packs Carpigiani technology into just 55 cm, with a vintage-style design. A single cylinder freezes, stores and serves up to 5 kg of gelato in an hour, and it installs by plugging into a power outlet.
  • The 161 T G SP single-flavour soft serve machine was also on show here. It suits sorbets and frozen yoghurt, has a 5 L tank and a gravity feed system for compact, dry soft serve, and takes the Star Door, which accepts 18 different nozzles sold individually or as an optional kit.
