Carpigiani at Sirha Budapest 2024 and Gelato Square
Sirha Budapest, the leading international HoReCa and retail show in Central and Eastern Europe, ran for the sixth time from 5 to 7 March 2024 at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center.

Carpigiani’s local dealer had a booth dedicated to the latest machines for artisan gelato, including the Labotronic HE and Pastomaster HE, and for pastry, the Pastochef RTL-I.
The new Gelato Square
The big addition in 2024 was the Gelato Square in Hall G, with a three-day programme:
- 5 March: the third Hungarian stage of the Gelato Festival World Masters 2022-2025 route, where the three best gelato makers were selected for the European finals.
- 6 March: “Gelato Adventure 2024”, a playful, modern look at the gelato trade, with gelato education and small competitions for pastry students.
- 7 March: cooking shows with tastings.
