Carpigiani at Hotelex Shanghai 2019
From 1 to 4 April 2019, Carpigiani exhibited at Hotelex Shanghai 2019, the 28th Shanghai International Hospitality Equipment & Food Service Expo, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
Machines and demonstrations
At stand N1 D02, Carpigiani showed Labo 8 12, Maestro, Ready, Pastomaster, Pastochef, Mister Art Plus, Turbomix and Ecowip. Alessandro Racca, an instructor at Carpigiani Gelato Pastry University, gave demonstrations covering gelato, pastry gelato, soft gelato and slush.
About the show
Hotelex is a series of hospitality equipment, supplies and fine food fairs in China, held in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu and Guangzhou. The Shanghai edition spans the whole hospitality and catering chain, from equipment and tableware to food and beverage, bakery and ice cream, coffee and tea, and wine and spirits.
With more than 26 years of history, it is described as the most international event of its kind in China. It draws about 2,500 exhibitors, 146,267 visitors and 5,135 overseas buyers, and hosts over 30 special events including barista, cooking and baking competitions, uniform shows and table art contests.
