Continuous Freezers – Explorer 1500
Studied for medium big sized companies, the freezer 1500 with its double freezing stage produces up to 1500 L/h of ice-cream (100% overrun) in one taste. The two cylinders are completely independent, each with its own refrigerating plant, control selector and separate control device.
The machine is basically composed of:
- Self contained cooling compressor
- Dasher with stainless steel scraping blades
- Touch-screen for the setting and visualization of the following functions and parameters:
- Production speed
- Barrel pressure
- Ice-cream temperature
- Hot gas function (for reduced production speed)
- Memorisation of recipes
- CIP cycle
Continuous Freezers Lobe Pumps – Explorer 750&1500 LP
Self contained continuous freezer for the ice cream production, with lobe pumps. The turbine, of hollow type with eccentric shaft in stainless steel is provided with scraper blades, also in stainless steel, and, by rotating at high speed, produces an ice cream of a fine & creamy structure.
In the lower part is situated the double-lobe-pump group:
- the first one for pumping the ice cream mix (in liquid solution at 4°C) in to the freezing cylinder;
- the second to discharge the ice cream from the cylinder.
Both pumps are equipped with independent motoreducer, controlled by inverter and PLC for the set-up and control of the production parameters, like quantity, overrun
and viscosity. The pump body is made from an single S/S piece, and it is equipped with pneumatic by-pass for a perfect CIP cleaning. The air for the overrun, metered by a mass flow meter then filtered, is injected directly into the freezing cylinder, obtaining an ice cream with volume increase from 30% to 140%. The pressure cylinder is automatically controlled.
Continues Freezers – Touch Screen
The new touch screen keyboard consists of keys showing the main functions and components of the machine to ensure simple, intuitive operation even for the less skilled operators. The PLC gives an exclusive self-dianosis service to identify the part involved in any faulty operation which may occur, and this is immediately displayed on the screen.
The machine then suggests a possible remedy to solve the problem and gives the code of any faulty part so that it can be immediately replaced.
